Ligament Lifting
Collagen Ligament Lifting that holds lines that have lost their shape — DER AaN Cheongdam's ligament injection

DER AaN Cheongdam Signature Ligament Lifting (ligament injection)
Ligament Lifting is DER AaN Cheongdam's ligament injection, in which we assess the points around the retaining ligaments that support the facial lines and inject PCL collagen filler in small, divided amounts. It is designed to pinpoint and fill the support points and to help your own collagen production over time.
PCL collagen filler is composed of porous, biodegradable PCL microspheres and a water-soluble CMC gel carrier. Immediately after the procedure the gel fills the space, and from around 4–6 weeks the PCL particles stimulate fibroblasts and production of your own collagen begins.

- Procedure time
- Varies by area (explained at consultation)
- Treatment area
- Cheeks · jawline · facial contour
- Treatment interval
- Conservative first session; whether to add more is decided after seeing the progress
- Downtime
- Mild swelling · bruising may occur

Ligament Lifting How it works
The skin and fat of the face are held in place by retaining ligaments that originate from the bone. With age, as this support structure weakens and changes in fat · skin overlap, the lines of the cheeks and jawline can look saggy and lose their shape.
In Ligament Lifting, the filler is injected in small, divided amounts into a set layer to reinforce the points that support the lines. The CMC gel carrier fills the space immediately after the procedure, and from 4–6 weeks fibroblasts gather around the PCL particles and production of your own collagen begins.
We start by pinpointing where the lines are supported
We check the points around the retaining ligaments that support the sagging lines, as well as skin thickness, to decide the injection layer and amount, and rather than injecting a lot at once, we inject evenly in small, divided amounts.

Fill first, then on to collagen
Right after the procedure the gel fills the space, and from 4–6 weeks production of your own collagen begins around the PCL particles. We plan both the change you see right away and the change that continues over time.

Designed together with lifting
We decide the order and combination so that the points that support the lines are filled with ligament injection, while loose skin is tightened with lifting such as ONDA · Ultherapy.

Ligament Lifting
Precautions
- Swelling, redness and bruising may occur at the injection sites, and these mostly subside within a few days. Rarely, asymmetry · nodules · vascular complications can occur, so we explain these at the consultation before the procedure.
- Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, PCL collagen filler cannot be dissolved with a dissolving injection, so to avoid over-injection we set the layer and amount in advance and inject it in small, divided amounts.
- If sagging is severe or extends down to the neck, this procedure alone has limits, so we design it together with lifting.
- For a few days after the procedure, please do not press or rub the injected areas firmly.
- When effects appear, to what degree and how long they last depend on skin condition and vary from person to person.
