How is this different from exosome cosmetics?
Cosmetic exosomes are non-autologous components derived from other cells. MCT processes PRP made from the patient's own blood to promote the release of autologous exosomes, so only the patient's own components are used.
How long does the procedure take?
After the blood draw and PRP preparation, MCT processing takes an additional 10–15 minutes, and the treatment is completed within the same session.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions and the intervals differ depending on your skin condition and goals. Our medical team will provide individual guidance at your consultation.
How much does MCT Metacell cost?
It varies with the treatment area and its extent, the treatment preset and the number of sessions. We check your skin condition and goals at the consultation, draw up a plan and then explain.
How is MCT Metacell different from PRP?
After the PRP is prepared, an additional step treats it for 10-15 minutes with light of a specific wavelength and with heat in the MCT Unit. The platelets are not concentrated or cultured — only photothermal conditioning is applied — and we select the condition suited to the goal from three presets: PRP · Cells · Exosomes.
Are there any side effects with MCT Metacell?
Only your own blood components are processed, without chemical additives, but bruising at the blood draw site and swelling, redness or a stinging sensation at the injection site may occur; these usually subside within a few days. Post-treatment precautions are explained during the consultation.
Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
