Microscope image of immune cells

NK (Natural Killer) cells are immune cells responsible for the body's innate immunity, and they decrease with age. NK cell therapy is an autologous immune cell program in which immune cells are separated from drawn blood, expanded in number and functionally activated at a cell processing facility, and then returned via intravenous injection. Whether and how the procedure is performed is determined through consultation with the medical team and review, in accordance with the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act.

The NK Cell Therapy process Three steps from blood draw to injection

  1. Blood draw
    01 Collect

Immune cells are isolated from the drawn blood

Immune cells including NK cells are isolated from the drawn blood. Because they are your own cells, the burden of immune rejection is low.

  2. Cell Culture · Activation
    02 Expand

Expanded and activated at a cell processing facility

The separated immune cells are increased in number and strengthened · activated through a special process at a cell processing facility. Procedures such as culturing are carried out only at designated facilities.

  3. IV injection
    03 Infuse

    Reinfused intravenously

The processed cells are infused into the body intravenously. The number of sessions and the intervals between them are decided by the medical team according to each individual's condition.

Questions NK Cell Therapy Q&A

Frequently asked questions

These are the questions we are asked most often during consultations. Answers may vary depending on your individual skin condition.

Whose cells are used?
Only immune cells isolated from the patient's own blood are used. After being expanded and activated at a cell processing facility, they are returned by intravenous injection.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Following the procedures and review required by the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act, our medical team determines whether the treatment is appropriate and how it will be performed. Details are provided individually during consultation.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions and the interval differ according to each person's immune status and goals. Our medical staff will advise you individually at your consultation.
How much does NK Cell Therapy cost?
It varies depending on the number and spacing of sessions and the processes of the cell processing facility. Following the procedures and review required under the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act, whether and how treatment is performed is determined and then explained during the consultation.
Is NK Cell Therapy injected on the same day as the blood draw?
No. Immune cells separated from the blood drawn are expanded and activated through a process at a cell processing facility, and are then given by intravenous injection, so the injection is not performed on the same day as the blood draw. The schedule is explained individually during your consultation.
Are there any side effects with NK Cell Therapy?
Because only your own cells are used, the burden of immune rejection is low, but bruising at the blood draw site or discomfort at the IV site may occur; these usually subside within a few days. Other reactions and precautions are explained individually by our medical staff during the consultation.

Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
