In Silhouette Soft, 3D cones are densely arranged on a PLLA thread that breaks down naturally in the body; the cones hook and lift tissue for an immediate lifting effect, and as the thread is absorbed it stimulates your own collagen production.

How much does Silhouette Soft cost?
It varies with the number of cones (8 · 12 · 16 cones), the number of threads and the treatment area, so we assess the length and weight of the sagging during the consultation and then advise you. The number of cones is set differently for each area, and left-right balance is designed together.
How long do the results of Silhouette Soft last?
The cones lift sagging tissue immediately, so a change is visible right after treatment, and as the PLLA threads and cones are absorbed, collagen forms and the effect is maintained for 12–18 months. Results vary with skin thickness and the degree of sagging, and when reinforced with Ultherapy or Thermage we design for a longer duration.
What side effects can Silhouette Soft have?
Swelling, bruising or a tight feeling may occur at the insertion site and usually subsides within 3–7 days. Rarely, the cones may be temporarily felt or the skin may look slightly folded, so avoid rubbing the area hard for a few days.
Does Silhouette Soft hurt?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so discomfort during treatment tends to be minimal, and the smooth cone surface causes little irritation on insertion. For a few days afterwards you may feel tightness and stiffness; the degree of discomfort varies from person to person.
How do I choose between Silhouette Soft 8, 12 and 16 cones?
It is decided by the length and weight of the sagging. Small areas and mild sagging use 8 cones, the cheeks and nasolabial lines use 12 cones (including the shorter 12-cone Short), and long lines extending to the jawline with marked sagging use 16 cones. During the consultation we design the number of cones and the support points for each area.
What is the difference between Silhouette Soft and APTOS thread lifting?
With Silhouette Soft, the 360° 3D cones on a PLLA thread support and hold the tissue, while with APTOS the fine barbs on the surface of a P(LA/CL) thread hook and lift it. The cones have a smooth surface and cause less irritation; during your consultation we choose the thread that suits the direction of sagging and your skin thickness.
Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
