Lifting that adds power on top of precision On top of precision, lifting with added power
Ultherapy PRIME is a non-incisional lifting treatment that creates micro thermal coagulation points of 60–70°C at precise depths while viewing down to the SMAS layer beneath the skin with real-time ultrasound imaging (Deep SEE™). It addresses sagging cheeks, a blurred jawline and a double chin without incisions.
A step beyond the previous UltheraUltherapy PRIME— three changes
01 See
A larger, clearer screen
With a larger screen and higher image resolution, visual noise is reduced, improving the precision and stability of the procedure.
02 Deep
Improved ultrasound imaging technology
Deep SEE™ real-time ultrasound imaging allows observation down to a depth of 8 mm, enabling precise targeting even in thick skin or fat layers.
03 Fast
Faster response, shorter treatment time
Faster processing speed and touch response make the treatment quicker and reduce the burden of pain.

These are the questions we receive most often during consultations, such as the number of shots, anesthesia and when results appear. The answers may differ depending on your individual skin condition.
How is Ultherapy PRIME different from the previous Ulthera?
It uses the same ultrasound (HIFU) principle, but with a larger screen and clearer imaging the skin layers can be seen more precisely during treatment, and faster processing has shortened the treatment time. DER AaN Cheongdam has two genuine Ultherapy PRIME devices.
How much does Ultherapy cost?
It varies with the number of shots (300 · 400 · 500 · 600 shot options), the treatment area and the anesthesia method. After checking your skin condition with ultrasound imaging during the consultation, we will explain this along with the number of shots needed.
Is the Ultherapy treatment painful? How is anesthesia handled?
As thermal coagulation points form within the skin, there is a dull aching sensation, so you can choose between topical anesthetic cream or sedation at your consultation. Post-treatment discomfort usually subsides within a few days.
When do Ultherapy results appear and how long do they last?
You may feel tightening right after the procedure, but it becomes gradually more noticeable over the 2–3 months as collagen is rebuilt. How long results last depends on skin condition and lifestyle, and a repeat treatment is usually considered around one year later.
How is the number of shots decided?
The depth of sagging and the skin thickness differ by area — around the eyes, cheeks, jawline and neck — so after checking with Deep SEE™ imaging, we plan the tips and shots separately for each area. Even with the same number of shots, where and how they are used determines the result.
Can I have it together with Thermage?
Ultherapy PRIME treats the deep layers with ultrasound while Thermage treats the dermis with radiofrequency. Because their mechanisms differ, the two can be combined.
Is there any swelling or downtime after an Ultherapy treatment?
Redness, mild swelling, or tenderness when pressed may last a few days after the procedure, and bruising or temporary changes in sensation can occur rarely. Most people can wash their face and carry on with daily life the same day, though recovery speed varies from person to person.
Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
