The same sagging is not solved by the same treatment We read skin as it changes with age anatomically
Skin thickness, fascia and fat distribution change with age. At DER AaN Cheongdam Clinic, we first assess age-related skin changes anatomically, then design a step-by-step lifting plan combining Ultherapy, Thermage, Sofwave, ONDA, thread lifting and collagen boosters. No unnecessary treatments — only what you need right now.
Different concerns, different plans at every age Lifting guide by age
20s 30s
Fine lines · a blunt jawline · submental fat
Fine lines appear and the facial contour starts to blur due to deep cheek fat and submental fat. We fill the dermis with Sofwave · Rejuran and, if needed, tighten the SMAS with Ultherapy.
Aging begins in earnest and sagging appears differently in each area. Ultherapy and Thermage tighten the SMAS and dermis, thread lifting raises sagging tissue, and collagen boosters fill areas that have lost volume.
50s 60s
Deep wrinkles · cheek and jawline sagging
Volume loss becomes significant and deep wrinkles appear along with sagging. Thread lifting raises the tissue, Ultherapy · Thermage secure it, and collagen boosters help restore the skin's own thickness.
How DER AaN Cheongdam designs lifting We look at the skin, separate the layers, and combine
SEEChecking age and skin structure
We check the skin thickness, SMAS and fat layer with ultrasound to find the layer causing the sagging.
PLANTreatment combinations by layer
We design the plan by layer: Ultherapy for the fascia, Thermage · Sofwave for the dermis, ONDA for fat, and thread lifting for tissue.
TREATStep-by-step treatment · performed by the doctor

These are the questions we are asked most often during consultations. Answers may vary depending on your individual skin condition.
At what age is it best to start lifting?
The standard is not your age but the condition of your skin thickness, fascia and fat layers. In your 20s and 30s, when fine lines, a blunter jawline and submental fullness begin, we start gently with treatments that fill the dermis, such as Sofwave or Rejuran, and we use ultrasound to check whether the sagging has reached the fascia before deciding.
Which lifting treatment is right in your 40s and 50s?
In your 40s and 50s, deep cheek fat, jowls, nasolabial folds and volume loss in the cheeks tend to appear together, so we do not rely on a single device. We design a combination suited to your condition: Ultherapy for the fascia, Thermage to tighten the dermis, thread lifting to lift sagging tissue, and collagen boosters to fill lost volume.
Is lifting still effective in your 60s?
For those in their 50s and 60s with significant volume loss along with deep wrinkles and sagging, the plan is designed in the order of lifting with threads, securing with Ultherapy · Thermage, and restoring skin thickness with collagen boosters. Results may vary depending on skin condition, so during the consultation we first examine each layer with ultrasound.
How much does lifting by age cost?
It depends less on age than on which layer has sagged and how many devices are combined, so we check with ultrasound during the consultation and then advise you. Rather than doing everything at once, we select only the treatments you need now and space them out in order.
How often should lifting by age be done?
Duration varies by device: energy-based lifting such as Ultherapy · Thermage generally lasts around a year, while thread lifts and collagen boosters are spaced differently depending on your condition. Rather than combining several treatments at once, we proceed in a planned order with intervals; as results vary from person to person, this is decided during the consultation.
Can sagging around and under the eyes also be treated with age-specific lifting?
The eye area is planned separately with the device suited to it. Eyelid and eye-area fine lines are treated with Eye Thermage (eye tip), sagging of the brows and eye area with Eye Ultherapy (1.5mm tip), and brow lifting and eye-area tightening with Eye Sofwave — chosen according to the cause.
Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
