So the skin fills itself again with your own skin cells A treatment that revitalises the dermis
Juvgen is an autologous dermal regeneration procedure in which the dedicated automated device JUVGEN-A alternately injects carbon dioxide gas and hyaluronic acid into the same spot in 0.001cc increments, prompting physical, chemical and biological responses in the dermis and inducing the production of collagen and elastin. Fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores and reduced elasticity improve over time.
Why Juvgen is different Three principles of autologous dermal regeneration
01 CO₂
Carbon dioxide stimulates the dermis
Carbon dioxide injected into the dermal layer physically expands the tissue and reacts with body fluids to create an acidic environment, a chemical stimulus that promotes collagen production.
02 HA
Hyaluronic acid that replenishes hydration
The hyaluronic acid within dermal collagen decreases with age. Hyaluronic acid injected alternately at the same site helps retain moisture and supports an environment for regeneration.
03 0.001cc
Precise injection with a dedicated automated device
JUVGEN-A adjusts the injection volume in 0.001cc increments, injecting the two solutions alternately and repeatedly. It delivers minute amounts consistently — amounts that are difficult to achieve by hand.
How DER AaN Cheongdam works with Juvgen We assess the depth, calculate the layer and volume, and inject precisely
SEEAssessing scar · adhesion depth
The depth of adhesion and tissue response differ from skin to skin. We first assess the depth of scars, pores and fine lines.
PLANDesigning the layer, amount and number of sessions
The right depth and the right amount determine the result. We calculate the layer and volume to reduce nodules and improve retention.

Dr. Kyungeun Lee personally injects the volume designed with JUVGEN-A. The procedure is completed within 20–30 minutes without anesthesia.
The three components that make up Three Components
AJUVGEN-A main unit
Device with automatic alternating injection in 0.001cc increments
IDual-chamber syringe
Gas and liquid into the dermis with a single device
HHA filler
Hyaluronic acid for alternating injection
It is a precision-technique procedure that requires careful calculation of depth, layer and volume.
JUVGEN
Rather than filling the skin with a product, lets the skin fill itself again.

These are the questions we are asked most often during consultations. Answers may vary depending on your individual skin condition.
How much does Juvgen cost?
The cost of Juvgen varies with the treatment area (full face, scar areas, etc.) and the number of sessions. We assess the depth of scars, pores and fine lines, then decide on the number of sessions needed and explain this during your consultation.
How is Juvgen different from fillers or skin boosters?
Fillers create volume by filling with a product, whereas Juvgen is an autologous dermal regeneration procedure that alternately delivers 0.001 cc each of carbon dioxide gas and hyaluronic acid into the same spot to stimulate the dermis so that your own collagen and elastin are produced. It addresses fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores and loss of elasticity.
When do Juvgen results appear, and how long do they last?
Because this treatment works by having the dermis regenerate on its own, the skin improves as time passes, and collagen changes usually appear gradually over several weeks to a few months. Since the collagen your own skin has made remains, how long results last depends on the condition of your skin and varies between individuals.
How many Juvgen sessions are needed?
Sessions are planned according to the depth of scars, pores and fine lines and the tissue response. After the first treatment, the skin's response is assessed to determine the layers, amount and interval for the next session, and the number of sessions may increase depending on depth.
Can Juvgen cause side effects such as swelling or bruising?
Because the carbon dioxide physically expands the dermis, the treated area may look slightly swollen right after the procedure, and redness, swelling or bruising may occur, usually subsiding within a few days. Nodules are minimized by carefully calculating the injection depth and volume. Washing your face and wearing makeup are possible from two days after the procedure.
Is the Juvgen treatment painful?
It is completed within 20–30 minutes without anesthesia. A dedicated device delivers the injection in 0.001 cc increments, so only a small amount enters at a time; the degree of discomfort varies by area and individual and will be explained during your consultation.
Results and how long they last may differ depending on individual skin condition, and our medical staff will explain possible side effects during the consultation.
